P17 Petrol is one of the largest-selling petrol air compressors, delivering 350 litres of free air per minute. Powered by a Genuine Honda GX200 engine, it is built for Australia’s toughest conditions and meets Australian emissions standards.
This compressor is quiet, efficient, and professional-grade, capable of running die grinders, air sanders, and ½” impact guns. The Peerless N75 full cast iron pump runs at a slow 1061 RPM, ensuring long-lasting performance. The Conrader idle control valve system (USA-made) helps save fuel by automatically engaging and disengaging according to air demand.
Every P17 Petrol unit is built and tested at Peerless’ Bendigo factory, including pressure vessel checks, fitting inspections, bolt tension verification, and pump-up times. Standard features include:

Model Variants
Twin Tank – Low center of gravity for improved stability and portability in vehicles; removable handle for compact storage.
Ute Mate – Compact roll-cage design, ideal for utility vehicles, delivering full performance in a modest package.
2" Tube Tank – Provides instant pressure recovery; frees up space on service vehicles and allows rapid access to air without downtime.
Under / Over – Space-saving design for trailers or service vehicles with rapid recovery, returning to full pressure within six seconds.
Electric start models come with battery leads (battery not included). Custom designs and alternative configurations are available.

Always check site voltage before operation. Low voltage (<230V) can harm the engine. Avoid extension leads; use longer air hoses instead.
